BVALUE VC INVESTS IN SPINBACKUP
Our firm advised Bvalue VC, an early stage seed fund based in Poland, in its 3 M PLN seed financing in Spinbackup, an American cybersecurity company providing data loss and data leak prevention tools for cloud services such as Google G-Suite and Microsoft Office 365. BValue VC invests in pre-seed, seed and series A stage high growth companies. Partner Tytus Cytowski led our firm’s team advising BValue VC on the seed round.
Bvalue VC used our firm’s seed financing package to close its deal with Spinbackup. As part of the representation our firm negotiated and structured, a Silicon Valley style seed investment. In addition the transaction was structured to fully comply with Bridge Alpha funding requirements of the National Centre for Research and Development of Poland.
The transaction is unique, because it is one of the first seed investments of a Polish venture fund into a Silicon Valley based company. The transaction is another example of our firm’s continues support of European seed investors backing top entrepreneurs in Silicon Valley.
Spinbackup is also supported by Aventures and several angel investors that backed previously Whatsapp.
