This month we are beyond excited to celebrate Cytowski & Partners 10 birthday! We’re kicking of the party with a short snapshot of our law firm.

Startup Champions

We champion our startup and venture clients. As a recognition of this, our founder Tytus Cytowski has been recognized as one of the 50 important people in the startup world in Poland. Tytus has spoken at Startupgrind and is co-director of the Warsaw Chapter. The firm has been short listed as boutique M&A law firm for the CEE region even though our HQ is in NYC and we are mostly focused on foreign founders in Silicon Valley.

Numbers

Since our start in 2009 we have worked with 500+ startups and 1,000 founders from across the world. We have represented 150+ clients in venture financing. Our clients have raised almost $1 B in venture financing and exits. We assisted 200+ foreign companies expanding to the US ranging from small businesses to large public companies. 60% of our clients are from Europe, 35% are from the US and 5% from Asia and Latin America.

According to Pitchbook in 2018 we were ranked #36 on the VC deals on the West Coast and #37 in the Mid-Atlantic region by deal volume. Overall in VC deals we ranked #58 in the US and #28 in Europe.

Products

Our sweet spot are YC grade foreign founders and Silicon Valley and European seed investors. Our core products include the startup package, seed financing package and US market expansion package. We can assist in founder immigration matters and intellectual property protection.

Technology enabled law

Our law firm has been built on the lean methodology and uses state of the art technology developed in Silicon Valley to optimize our law practice. Thanks to new technologies our law firm is better at transparency, price predictability and speed. Many of our clients provide cool tech hacks to our daily life.

Team

Our team consists of 6 people in the United States, 1 person in Poland and 1 Pomeranian. Our Pomeranian, Charlie Brown is our chief happiness officer and is great fun at the office. Our team speaks English, Polish, Hindu, French, Iboo and Yoruba. Our law firm hires foreign trained lawyers and sponsors their stay in the US.
