In August 2020, scholarship funds were given by Cytowski & Partners to support financial aid for Central and Eastern European (CEE) students and academics studying for advanced degrees at Stanford Law School. This support was provided in memory of Marcel Konigsberg, a blind Polish Jewish lawyer and alumnus of Jan Kazimierz University, in Lviv, who died during the Holocaust.

The financial aid funds shall be available to students beginning in the 2020–21 academic year for three years. Students from the following countries shall be eligible: Albania, Belarus, Bosnia & Hercegovina, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Croatia, Hungary, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, Romania, Poland, Serbia, Slovakia and Slovenia.

CEE students who have secured admission to Stanford Law School and have demonstrated financial need are eligible for fellowship funding to pursue advanced degrees, including the highly selective Masters of Laws Program (LLM) and Doctor of the Science of Law (JSD) program.

These are the most advanced degrees conferred by the law school. By providing these scholarship funds, Cytowski & Partners intends to encourage future CEE legal leaders interested in understanding the dynamics of law, science and technology and looking to explore legal innovation created in the Bay Area.

As with the other scholarships at Stanford, admissions and aid decisions are made exclusively and independently by Stanford Law School.
